Day -2 Larry Avoids the Hook

It has been another great day at camp.  This evening, campers,  counselors, and staff enjoyed a presentation made by Rainbow the clown and Larry Funzel, a fuzzy blue worm.  Rainbow and Larry used several things, such as juggling & stories to teach life lessons in a very entertaining way .    One of those lessons was about dealing with our fears and Larry had a lot to share on this topic.

Earlier that day the campers went fishing at our

favorite fishing hole.  While Larry narrowly avoided the hook, many of his distant relatives were not so lucky.  In total, the campers reeled in 56 fish. We are going to have plenty of fish for dinner tomorrow night.

You may be wondering what campers do while they are waiting for their turn to go fishing.  In the case of our campers, they were treated to boat rides around the lake by one of the hosting camp staff

members. You can imagine the wide smiles of our campers as they skimmed across the water.  A lot of exciting stories were shared after the campers exited the boat.  Yes, it has been another great day.
